SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Last updated: July 22, 2026

These SMS Terms describe the text-messaging programs operated on the CoServe platform. CoServe sends text messages on behalf of the businesses that use our service — for example, a text-back after you call a business and they miss your call, a reply to a lead you submitted, appointment confirmations and reminders, and conversational replies. These SMS Terms are part of our Terms of Service and apply to both our business customers and the recipients of their messages.

1. Program description

Messages sent through CoServe are conversational or informational business messages, such as:

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with the business — typically a small number of messages per conversation or appointment. This is not a recurring marketing-subscription program.

2. Consent

You consent to receive messages by initiating contact with a business (for example calling it, texting it, or submitting your phone number in a form or booking) or by otherwise giving that business permission to text you. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Each business using CoServe is responsible for obtaining any consent required before texting you.

3. Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to opt out of texts from that business’s number. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent to you from that number unless you re-subscribe (for example by replying START). You can also opt out by asking the business directly. The keywords STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT are honored.

4. Help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, contact the business you are messaging with, or email us at support@coserve.ai.

5. Fees and carriers

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to network availability and carrier filtering, and we cannot guarantee that any message will be delivered.

6. Privacy

Phone numbers and message content are processed as described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile numbers and text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message data is shared with our telephony provider solely to deliver messages, and with the business you are communicating with.

7. For businesses using CoServe

If you send messages through CoServe, you must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, applicable law (including the TCPA and state equivalents), and CTIA and carrier requirements. You are responsible for obtaining and documenting recipient consent appropriate to your message types, honoring opt-outs, keeping your A2P registration information accurate, and ensuring message content is truthful and lawful. Opt-outs are enforced automatically at the platform level, and you must not attempt to message a recipient who has opted out.

8. Changes

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
